Actually Jon, I still have and use my HD-A1 as my main HD-DVD player. The add-on gets used sparingly right now and is my backup in case I have a problem with a disc on the A1. That will change when I get a LCD TV for my other bedroom. The 360 will be going in there permanently.
I didn't even think to put this in the add-on. Keezy, what exactly is happening when you put the disc in? Does it freeze while it's updating? If so, try clearing the cache on the players internal memory by going over to the system blade. Under memory, the add-on should be listed. Just delete everything off of there and try it again. This will erase all of your bookmarks though.
If that doesn't work, try loading up an HD-DVD that doesn't access the internet (like King Kong). While the movie is playing, bring up your options and turn the internet access to "off" or something along those lines. Then try to boot up Bourne.
Keep us posted. You could also try simply signing out of XBOX Live. I don't know if that will work or not. I would test it but this was a rental that went back to Blockbuster a few days ago.
