    Bubble?

I have had my DrumShhh pads for a good three weeks now. I have started to get a large bubble in my yellow drum pad. the drums are in the basement so they are not exposed to extreme heat they just sit there untill the guys get together on Sundays to play some rockband.

So my question is should i remove the Pad and attempt to reapply it to the drums? the bubble is getting in the way of playing now. or should i order a new one? and yes i have tried to push down on the bubble to get it to stick but it is not helping at all in fact it is making it worse.

I would think you'd have to apply some more adhesive.

I do not want to just sick guerrilla glue on the drum set. I wonder if i should use some sort of stage makeup glue... like what you would apply stage ears with a beard etc..?

I'm not familiar with that stuff but I have some spray adhesive that would work. Most glues could be cleaned off if thats what your worried about. You could test on something similar maybe. Goodluck

just use a low strength adhesive similar to the one on the back and you will be fine. maybe test the glues you are thinking of on a a piece of rubber and see how well it sticks and how easy the glue peels off.

I'd wait for the official Drumshhh guy to respond. (not that I'm questioning anyones knowledge on the matter, its just better to be safe)

yea but in the mean time he could at least try something out, as long as he doesnt use any super glue or other strong adhesive he should be ok.

Hello GS. Thanks for your purchase; sorry that the yellow pad is causing you grief.

The pads come with a 30 day warranty, so if you've only had them three weeks we'll replace the yellow pad for free.

Please send an e-mail to support (at) drumshhh.com with your name and shipping address. We'll figure out proof of purchase and get a replacement pad sent out for you.

We don't recommend attempting to remove the pad and re-glue it. Drumshhh pads are single-use only, so once you remove the pad it will probably not stick very well anywhere, so you'd have to glue it down all around. It's probably best to wait a few days for the replacement pad.

    Thanks.
